Dear Alpha Xi Parent,
As president of the Alpha Xi Building Association, I want to thank you for your support of your son and Kappa Alpha Order. Your son has helped bring the Alpha Xi Chapter back on campus and quickly make strides towards being one of the top chapters at Cal. A key factor to continuing this success is an involved and active parent and alumni base. To help facilitate this need we have launched a parent and alumni communications program that will keep all those associated with Alpha Xi connected to the chapter. We have also recently established the Julian A. Pardini Scholarship Fund which will provide annual scholarships specifically for your son and other Alpha Xi KAs.
Thanks to the support of parents like you and many alumni, our chapter house has also seen many recent upgrades including fully renovating the common rooms and many of the bedrooms. The cost of our parent and alumni programming and maintaining our facilities as we would like is approximately $35,000 annually. Make no mistake, your annual contribution is what allows us to maintain this program. It is also a priority of ours to develop some significant educational and maintenance endowments. We cannot accomplish these goals without your support.
With this in mind, the Alpha Xi Building Association is hopeful that parents like you will be willing to go the extra mile so we can meet our short-term and long-term goals. Whether or not you were able to experience the benefits of the Greek system, I am certain that the experiences and opportunities that have become available to your son will forever benefit him into the future.
Your contribution of $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50 or anything you feel is within your means will keep our new parent and alumni program active and allow us to create an educational endowment.
Thanks in advance. Please remember, without you, we cannot succeed!
Sincerely,
Ryan Ledwith ’78
President
Alpha Xi Building Association
